The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is known as the CIA’s main intelligence gathering agency in the US federal government. The Agency also plays a significant role in trade union and cultural organizations by intervening in its activities. The student movement in the United States intervened in the movement of the University of Michigan and the university programs of American universities and trade unions. It also funded many publishing houses to publish pro-US books, as well as using well-informed personalities to market their ideas and beliefs.
