Pokémon Go” players are counting on seeing more Gen 2 Pokémon, and if recent rumors pan out, then Valentine’s Day may feature exactly what they are seeking.

The website then continued, noting that since Valentine’s Day is one for friendship for children, then that could be a clue that certain Gen 2 Pokémon who can be created using friendship may be coming as well.
It is also worth noting that while some Gen 2 Pokémon are already featured in “Pokémon Go,” it seems as though more could be coming in the weeks and months ahead.

Pokémon Go will celebrate Valentine’s Day with an event full of appropriately pink Pokémon.
You’ll get double the amount of candy while catching, hatching and transferring Pokémon, while Lure Modules will last for a boosted six hours each.
The event begins at 7pm UK time (11am Pacific) today, 8th February, and will last until the same time on 15th February.
Chansey, Clefable, Porygon and others will be easier to find in the wild, while the new baby Pokémon Cleffa, Igglybuff and Smoochum will appear more frequently from eggs.
It’s a relatively minor update, although developer Niantic often hides surprises which it lets fans find.
