The Pokémon Company Just Announced A Weird New Pokémon iOS And Android Game
As we’ve seen before with Pokémon Duel, the Pokémon Company is a bit looser with the property in Japan.
If Pokémon GO or Pokémon Duel didn’t sate your hunger for more Pokémon games on mobile platforms, there’s more on the way, at least in Japan.
It’s a big moment in the Pokémon world right now as Pokémon GO prepares to release the first major new wave of creatures into the world, and so this announcement might get a slight signal boost from general Pokécuriosity.
As we’ve also seen with Pokémon Duel, however, the runaway success of Pokémon GO means that even less Western-oriented titles have a chance of traversing the Pacific and landing on American shores.
Even Pokémon Duel took time to make it over here, and we assume that this game will first need to be successful in Japan before the company considers porting it to the West.
