as declared in Huawei is getting ready to launch a second-generation Huawei Watch, and thanks to new leak, we now know how it looks.
Determined not to be left out, Huawei is planning to unveil a newer, sportier Huawei Watch at Mobile World Congress at the end of February.
Huawei is expected to officially announce the watch alongside its new P10 flagship next week.
We don’t yet know if the SIM option will be available in all models of the Huawei Watch 2, which will be available in black, orange, and speckled grey colours, but Blass previously said at least one model of the Huawei Watch 2 will offer a cellular connection.
The Android Wear 2.0-powered timepiece has cellular capabilities via a nanoSIM card, which will allow the watch to work free from a connected smartphone.
Huawei Watch 2 to feature a sporty design, three colour variants
according to There’s a lot of excitement surrounding the upcoming MWC event as many major device manufacturers are expected to take this opportunity to show-off their best.
Furthermore, the watch has been leaked in three different colours: Black, Orange and Gray.
As first reported by VentureBeat, the Watch 2 is rumoured to sport a sportier look than its predecessor and will further pack a separate slot for a nano-SIM card.
Among them is Chinese manufacturer Huawei, who is not only rumoured to take the wraps off its speculated P10 and P10 Plus flagship handsets but is also expected to introduce its second-gen smartwatch — the Watch 2 at the event.
Ahead of the company’s press conference, press renders of the Huawei Watch 2 have been leaked, courtesy of a VentureBeat report.
The Huawei Watch 2 includes a nanoSIM card slot as well, allowing it to make calls as well as access cellular data on the move.
Along with the new Huawei Watch 2, the company will also be announcing the new P10 and P10 Plus flagship smartphones at the event.
Like the recently announced LG Watch Sport and LG Watch Style smartwatches, the upcoming smartwatch from Huawei will be running on Google’s latest Android Wear 2.0 platform.
As rumored earlier this year, the second generation Huawei Watch model features a more sporty design compared to its predecessor, which was all about classy style and elegance.
