The Galaxy Note 8 is already packed with features, but it is the dual camera that is going to really sell the Note 8 when it arrives.
Samsung itself was reportedly considering a dual camera system for both last year’s Note 7 and this year’s Galaxy S8 family.
And key to that recognition will be Samsung’s continued proficiency in imaging technology, and the inclusion of a dual camera system.
Dual camera systems on smartphones are not new, with the iPhone 7 Plus debuting Apple’s offering last year.
Samsung already has a strong claim to have the smartphone with the best performing camera in the Galaxy S8.

But regardless, the Galaxy Note 8 appears destined to be one of the best phones of 2017.
These shots don’t show the most controversial part of the Galaxy Note 8: its back.
If Ice universe proves to be as accurate with the Galaxy Note 8 as it was with the Galaxy S8, I suspect users are going to be very happy indeed.
Samsung could bring forward the release of the Galaxy Note 8 because of poor sales of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones.
In 2016 the Galaxy Note 7 was announced on 2nd August and on sale to the public on the 19th August.
Although the launch of a Galaxy Note handset used to belong to IFA, Samsung has moved towards organising its own launch events of the phablet in the last few years.
But if the Galaxy S8 and S8 plus sales are starting to falter, Samsung may not have the luxury of waiting.
That suggests and ties in with reports of an August press launch for the phablet.
