To help sidestep that, Google has updated its Phone app to automatically display your location when making a 911 call.
Between the initial shock from the impact, airbags going off and general disorientation, when you reach for your phone to call 911 you might not know where you are.
The fix they shared with me is only for my phone but they will be using it as a template either for OTA updates or to send the fix to people who are also having the same problem.

Concerned OnePlus 5 owners are flocking to Reddit to report a troubling glitch that is causing their devices to abruptly reboot anytime they call 911.
Update: OnePlus has since responded to our request for comment with the following statement:We have contacted the customer and are currently looking into the issue.
Update 3: OnePlus has patched the bug and will be rolling out a software update soon.
