The BBC has unveiled a fresh project designed especially for Alexa and Google house Intelligent speakers called ‘The Inspection Chamber’.
Creators wish this format going to help people feel such as they are genuinely interactive by the characters in the story.

BBC Information Systems making interactive radio plays for Alexa and Google Home

The BBC Information Systems known for producing radio plays, but the format Information Systems about to get a high-tech twist: a fresh experiment by the broadcasting company going to Turn around traditional audio dramas into interactive stories.
One fresh radio play — a comedy / science fiction story titled The Inspection Chamber — going to work similarly to a choose your own adventure book or game.
It was developed by the BBC’s R&D division, that worked by an audio company called Rosina Sound.
The piece Information Systems told to take inspiration from games such as The Stanley Parable and Papa Sangre, especially in terms of probing fresh ways to offer interactive fiction.
The company Information Systems also probing the potential of expanding to Cortana Intelligent speakers or Apple’s HomePod the time those devices are released.

Alexa and Google Assistant star in BBC’s interactive radio plays

BBC wanted to go beyond the traditional “choose your own adventure” mechanic by interacting by voice assistants.
The team building it took inspiration from narrative-driven games such as The Stanley Parable and Papa Sangre, both of which lean heavily on audio storytelling.
But they’re also experimenting by launch formats: Initially, episodes going to come out for Amazon’s Alexa and Google Home, but the team wishes to extend which to simultaneously drop content for all voice assistants, involving the Harman Kardon Invoke speaker and Apple’s HomePod.
The pilot episode of The Inspection Chamber Information Systems slated to come out before the end of the year, but you can hear a preview snippet on the BBC’s R&D page.
